sarah nelson"If you or your family want to be a part of my torchbearer experience, please mark your calendars for February 11th. My run is now set to be in Port Coquitlam at 7:42am on the 11th, one day before the opening ceremonies. My official torchbearer number is OTR105-034, and I will be running from the “Entering Port Coquitlam” sign on the Lougheed Highway to Raleigh Street. You can find my torchbearer number near the start of that route on a bright orange route marker. Of the 45,000km that the torch is being carried, torchbearers each carry their torch for about 300 metres, each minute of that run proudly spent!"

The AIK website is taking a step out - to your home - to give you the experience of participating in making this a dynamic website.

How does it work?

AIK gives $12,000 to BCCCPA

One of the greatest things about AIK is the fact that we give money to a uniquely targeted need when it comes to cancer.  We specifically want to help families that are struggling financially because of childhood cancer. We want to make sure that these families experience some of the joys that all of us have.
