I run for AIK because I want to stay fit and learn new running techniques like; Butt Kicks, Strides and High Knees. I am very, very lucky I go to a school that offers the Athletes In Kind KM Club for grades K-4 and we are the only school in the district #42 that has an AIK Race Team. I run every Friday, my favorite part is making our own scrap book page so that you guys can look at this page and imagine that you are running with us. I wish that you guys could be standing beside Rachel, Breezy and I in the picture on my page. I can’t wait to come to present my page to you.

Thank you for a wonderful event today. WOW! My boys had a great time. We were impressed with every aspect of it; friendly/helpful volunteers, good music, lots of food, coffee, great draw prizes and the flowers and medals were a wonderful touch. It was my youngest who was the first place for the short distance, he was pleasantly surprised by the flowers and medal he received.
Good on you.
Thank you for providing my children with such a positive and encouraging first trail race experience. WELL DONE.

"I must say after reading the article in the Bugle today, my past really hit home. I myself have experience the sadness that cancer brings to everyone's home at one time or other. At this time in my life I am the only one in my immediate family that has not been challenged with this demon. I have lost my mom, dad, and sister to cancer with my only sister going into surgery on Friday.
Over the last years I have not spoken to my Hayden and Noah about cancer and its challenges. Why, I am not really sure. I myself cannot even imagine the pain that families go through when their child is affected by cancer. Thank you for giving children the opportunity to become more aware of this challenge and giving them the opportunity to make a difference through fitness."
