We would like to continue Race Team at Pitt Meadows Secondary.....
Who would be interested in run club on Fridays from 3:30-4:30 every Friday starting at the end of September? We are developing a program to suit kids grades 8-12 if there is enough interest "it's a go" Please let us know what you think, by messaging Lorie on the community.

Well April 9th, 2010 was quite a day in Coquitlam's own Mundy Park. 116 kids age 5-13 registered for this AIK running event. As Race Directors Eric and I were very impressed with the turnout, enthusiasm and dedicated volunteers all of which made for an absolutely spledid day in the trail.
Our hope was for 100 participants this year last years attendance was a proud 67. We were well over our estimate on Friday. The Volunteers really made this event a victory for Athletes In Kind, they were so helpful prior to and on the day that Eric and I could really enjoy all the hard work that had gone into planning this event. Our Sponsors funded, donated product and employee volunteers so that all proceeds would go to benefit the BC Childhood Cancer Parents Association.
